Convertible Wedding Dresses
While browsing through Jamie Teo’s and Daniel Ong’s wedding photos, I was drawn to Jamie’s convertible wedding dress by Ted Wu. As the night progressed, her unqiue dress changed from a princess ballgown to a short cocktail number and became a breezy tunic. Jamie was hosting a fashion show RIGHT BEFORE her wedding banquet so the unique dress allowed her to remain fresh for fashion show audiences, dinner guests and the cameras. I think Jamie looked glowy and happy!
Most of us will not find ourselves in that special situation of working before our wedding. But a convertible dress would be useful for brave brides who plan for the solemnisation and banquet on the same day. Even if you aren’t that bride, won’t you enjoy a personal fashion show at the most important day of your lives?
By the way, did you notice how Daniel’s suit complemented Jamie’s every dress change? So guys, it’s not just girls who can enjoy multiple dress changes throughout the wedding dinner!
Here are some other convertible dresses I found. Locally, the dress would need to be custom made so all the changes can fit perfectly. If you have found your dream dress, take it to a good tailor and discuss options.
