Can Brides look more colorful?
White is a traditional bridal color. After all, it represents purity, innocence and so on. However I do suspect it has something to do with the requirements of virginity - deemed as a prized possesions in almost every race, religion and society I can think of. There is even a particular tradition that a bride who is second-time wedded cannot wear white.
So should we really really just wear white? Should we continue to perpetuate the binding rules on women by continuing the “white” tradition? Very biting point, isn’t it?
However, I do personally like the colour too but I just find it somehow boring, among all the gowns that try to differentiate each other in terms of shades of white. How about some accessories to add colours?
Really good crystals have the tendency to reflect colors from different angles and under different lightings. Combined with a couple of genuine gemstones, the effect dazzles.
Kuka (see above) has a large crystal pendent, surrounded by a mixture of precious stones, including aquamarine, rutilated quartz, sunstones, ametrine, larimar and apatite. The stones form a pastel combinations and create a soft but glamourous look on a bride.
Moonstones are great alternatives. They are white with flashes of blue. So you get to keep the “white” look with surpising elements of colours every now and then, looking totally in the flow.
I believe these are more exciting than the different shades of white, yeah?
